Cork

Cork is the newest SHS fur friend. I had him at my place for a while yesterday and he was wonderful. He’s very smart and eager to please. He knows the commands “sit” and “shake a paw”. He likes to go for walks, but is not perfect on the leash. When Cork in the house, he’s very calm. He’s not a barker or a junper, and loves kids. When he’s in the house, he likes to be able to look outside. He’s an all-around good boy with good manners and great potential.
What Is A Lotto Tree?
February 10, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment
Since people have heard that we are having a lotto tree at our fund raiser this weekend, we are getting the same question asked over and over. To clear up any remaining confusion, Lauren our Creative Consultant has made up a poster to explain the concept. There will be lotto tickets attached to a decorative tree. You buy raffle tickets to win the chance to take home all the lotto tickets. Think of how much you could win!!!

Jewel

Hello there, my name is Jewel. I’m a one year old (born August 2009) female Tortoiseshell kitty. I was living with Socks before I came to the SHS, and the person looking after us threw me outside with some big angry dogs who attacked me. I couldn’t defend myself, as I have no claws (declawed front & back paws). So I am very timid, but I do want to be loved and cared for. I’m very lonely, but it’s scary to let anyone near me, because I don’t trust anyone anymore. Do you have a big heart for a little kitty like me?
My adoption fee is $95 and includes my spay surgery and tattoo, first vet health check, first vaccinations and first deworming. For more information, please contact Cheryl (current foster mom) at felines@steinbachhumanesociety.com Thank you for your time, and I hope to meet you soon.

My name is Buddy. I’m an adult dSH tabby guy. Im neutered and up to date on my vaccinations. I’m a good boy with lots of love to give, but kinda shy when I first meet other pets. Once I’m familiar with other pets, I’m fine. I have a great cuddly personality, and would make my forever family very happy.
My adoption fee is $95, and includes my neuter surgery and tattoo, first vet health check, first vaccinations and first deworming. For more information, please contact Cheryl (current foster mom) at felines@steinbachhumanesociety.com Thank you for your time, and I hope to meet you soon.
Bear

Hi, I’m Bear, cause I’m soft and cuddly like a teddy bear. I’m a 1 year old black lab/husky cross who came to the SHS with my 4 litter mates, cause Mom was too old to look after all of us. I’m told I’m a sweet heart and pretty well behaved. I love kids, playing with other dogs, and I don’t even mind cats. I enjoy playing - especially with kiddos, swimming, playing fetch, with my own rules :o) and being cuddled. I love to tease! I’m an outdoor dog and I stay on the yard. I’ve been here since I was a baby, and I’m begging for a forever home. Please give me a chance. I’ll be a good boy!
My adoption fee is $200 and includes my neuter surgery and tattoo, first vet health check, first vaccinations including rabies, and first deworming

Bob

Hey all! I’m Bob cat. As you can see, I’m a solid black adult DSH male cat. I came to the SHS after being saved in an alleyway. Some other big cats had attacked me and I was in bad shape. I’m all better now and I still like other cats. I especially like spending time with people - both adults and children. After a rough start on the streets, I just want to be loved. Um, don’t tell the other male cats, but I’m told I have a very sweet voice. I’ve had my vaccinations and been neutered already, so I’m good to go to my forever home whenever my dream family finds me.
My adoption fee has been lowered from $95 to $30 in hopes that I will find a wonderful forever home. If you’re thinking of adopting a cat…what about Bob?
