My name is Maggie. I’m glad you are looking for a kitten, cuz I’m a kitten and I need a home. My family and I were scheduled to be put down in another shelter, but were saved and now I count my blessings instead of days. Please think of me when you consider adopting your next pet. I just want somebody who love who will love me back. Could you be that someone?…

Hi, I’m Micky (on the right) with my brother Mikey. We’re brothers who just arrived. We were scheduled to be euthenized in another shelter, but were saved at the last moment by the SHS. Thank you! My entire family was saved. There are 5 of us - my 2 sisters, my brother, mom and I have all been given a second chance. I’m playful and full of personallity. I’d love to begin my second chance with you. Please adopt me.

My name is Buffy. I’m a very young female adult kitty. I just arrived with my litter of 4 kittens. I am a dainty little girl with soft hair and an extra long tail with rings at the end like a lemur. I love to be around people, and people love to be around me. I’m quiet and super affectionate. I live to be loved.

Hi everyone! I’m Snickers. I’m a lovable black tabby (black stripes on grey) with a white blaze on my chest and white paws. I’m kind of a shy little guy right now, cuz I’m new here at the SHS, but I do like other cats. I’m about 4 months old. I came to the SHS with the tips of his ears frost bitten, as I had to fend for myself, alone in the bitter cold looking for a forever family to love me. I’m thankful to be alive and out of the cold. Now, I’m waiting for my forever family to come and find me. Could you be my family? If you’d like to come and visit me, I’ll be at Pet Valu here in Steinbach with my pal Charlotte. See you soon - I hope.

Clarissa is a sweet black female kitten. She was brought to us ophaned at a week old. She has been hand raised and loves people and other animals. She likes to snuggle with another animal or teddy at night. She is independant and playful, with loads of personality. Clarissa gets along great with others, especially small dogs. She keeps her food and litter area as clean as she can. Clarissa has great adoption potential.
The adoption fee for kittens is $85 each or $145 for two, and includes their first vet check, vaccinations, deworming, kitten starter pack, as well as the spay/neuter surgery and tattoo.

Hi, My name is Betsy! I came to the SHS a little while ago, after my fur mommy was hit by a fast moving car, and there was no one to take care of my siblings and I. I’ve had to grow up in a hurry, and am now waiting for a forever home where I can just be a kitten and be loved and taken care of. I’m a bit bigger now, since my picture was taken, but still sweet as pie. I’m litter box trained and I like other animals. If you would like to learn more about me, you can contact Cheryl at felines@steinbachhumanesociety.com or you can come and visit me at Pet Valu in Steinbach. They are fostering me and my friend Orangi.
I’ve been adopted along with my foster sister Oranji into our forever family, and life is great!!!
Oranji

Oranji is a sweet dainty little orange lady who was found on the Seven-11 parking lot one weekend in September and was brought to us. She has a very beautiful, design in her hair that makes her so unique. She is an amazing girl who loves children and other cats. Her one quirk is that she will stare at you intently when she wants to be cuddled, and then she appears cross-eyed because she is staring so hard. Oranji would love to have her forever home and her forever family.
You may have seen her at the Paws For Pets tattoo fundraiser at Kool Kats Tanning. She is currently being fostered by Pet Valu in Steinbach with her friend Betsy.
Oranji has been adopted along with her foster sister Betsy by a wonderful loving family. Congratulations girls!
