Fund Raiser Update
April 20, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Our Bud Spud and Steak fund raiser was amazing! We made $1576.58 and we thank you the public for all your support. We want to thank all the wonderful people who bought tickets in support of the Steinbach Humane Society. Thank you to our wonderful Fund Raiser Coordinator Michelle Neufield and her task force of volunteers for the amazing job they did putting this event on. We also had a whole bunch of awesome silent auction prizes donated by those listed below. So a huge thank you to those individuals and businesses as well. Thank you as well to the Fratz Motor Inn kitchen staff for the delicious meal. And a special thank you to counselman Michael Zwaagstra for coming out to show his support. All in all, the event was a success and we got to meet a whole lot of amazing people, whose hearts are in the same place as our own. Thank you everyone!

Fostering Furry Flood Victims
April 18, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
We are in need of foster homes for our furry friends. With all the flooding, we have been asked to be on the flood relief list to take in lost and abandoned animals who are in need of a home or a place to stay until their families can be lacated. We are antisapating a large vlume of animals as the flooding affects areas closer and closer to us. Because we do not have a building out of which to operate, we are in desperate need of foster homes for a variety of animals. If you have room for a dog, cat, small animal or large animal such as a horse, we need you, and more importantly, the animals need you. Please contac us at 3326-1274 and leave a message. We will return your message asap. Thank you so very much in advance.

SHS HOURS OF OPERATION
April 14, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
SHS Hours Of Operation - As we are all in volunteer positions and do not currently have a building to operate out of, most of us have full time jobs and families, so setting business hours is not really possible. If you call or email us, we will reply as soon as possible. We do our best to return messages the same day they are left, but due to schedules, this is not always possible. We appreciate you patience and support.
