Kernel

Kernal is a handsome 3 years old terrier who comes from an abusive situation. He was very scared, especially of loud noises, but very affectionate at the same time. Kernal was adopted, but became over protective of his family, so he has been returned to the rescue and again is up for adoption. He enjoys the company of cats and other dogs and gets along great with them. He is a very sweet boy, but will need time and patience from his forever family in order to overcome the trauma he has witnessed. Kernel loves going for walks and runs, and playing with his tennis ball, He is full of kisses and likes to lounge with on the couch. It is not recommended that he go to a home with small children. He knows the words CAR, OUTSIDE, WALK, COOKIE and BONE. He does know how to sit, shake a paw and lay down but he does it all in one motion as he usually gets a cookie after. He loves raw hide bones and will sit and chew them for hours. Please help this sweet little guy find a home he will feel safe and loved in. Thank you in advance for your generosity and love. Due to his sad story and need of a home, Kernel’s adoption fee has been waved.
Colonel was born March 2005.
He is a dark chocolate brown in color and lightens up in the summer.
Kernel is neutered, dewormed and up to date on his shots.
Kernel has been adopted and we are hoping that this time it really will be forever. He’s a good boy and deserves a chance at happiness.
