Bear

Hi, I’m Bear, cause I’m soft and cuddly like a teddy bear.  I’m a 1 year old black lab/husky cross who came to the SHS with my 4 litter mates, cause Mom was too old to look after all of us.  I’m told I’m a sweet heart and pretty well behaved.  I love kids, playing with other dogs, and I don’t even mind cats.  I enjoy playing - especially with kiddos, swimming, playing fetch, with my own rules  :o)  and being cuddled. I love to tease!  I’m an outdoor dog and I stay on the yard.  I’ve been here since I was a baby, and I’m begging for a forever home.  Please give me a chance.  I’ll be a good boy!

My adoption fee is $200 and includes my neuter surgery and tattoo, first vet health check, first vaccinations including rabies, and first deworming

Zohan

Hi there, my name’s Zohan.  I’m a young goofy adult neutered male Mastiff/Lab and I’m looking for a forever home. My former owner didn’t want me anymore due to my size, but I can’t help it that I’m a big teddy.  I get along with other dogs, once I know they are family members, and of course people.  I’d prefer to be in a country home where I’m the only pet, and no small children please, I tend to knock them over due to my size.  A soccer ball would be great though.  My birth date is November 4, 2008.

My life was spared when the SHS took me in, but now I’m looking for a forever home where my family will love and accept me and my size.  My foster family has been really great to me and is teaching me lots, but I really need a place to call home.

My adoption fee is $200 and includes my neuter surgery and tattoo, first vet health check, first vaccinations including rabies, and first deworming

Hi everyone!  I’m new here.  My name’s Toby.  I’m a young male Shepard/Lab cross boy looking for my forever home.  I hear it’s a place where your people will love you all your life and take care of you and play with you and all that good stuff - I want that!  I’m neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.  I enjoy the company of people (including children) and other dogs.  I’m well socialized with a great personality.  I was born sometime in May 2009.  I hope you pick me to be your forever friend.

Phoenix

Hi, my name is Phoenix.  I’m a medium sized adult Husky/Black Lab cross girl, but I’m the runt of the litter.  I came to the SHS as a pup when I was abandoned by my mother.  I’m full grown and just recently turn one year old!  I like to play, especially with my foster family and foster sister Princess, but for the most part, I’m pretty laid back.  I also don’t mind cats at all.  My foster pop says I’m a quick learner.  I’m as big as I’m gonna get, which is pretty small for the mix I am, but I do have a big heart with lots of love to give.  I especially love to play with kids.  Could you be the forever family I’ve been waiting for all this time?  I sure hope so.

My adoption fee is $200 and includes my spay surgery and tattoo, first vet health check, first rabes shot, first vaccinations and first deworming.

Hi, I’m Princess a sweet young female Border Collie/Black Lab cross.  I  was rescued from a home where it was impossible for me to get adiquate attention and care, due to severe allergies in the family.  Now I’m in foster care where I can get the love and attention I’ve been needing for too long.  Foster pop says I’m very friendly and extremely smart.

Hi, I’m Juno.  I’m glad you came to see my profile.  I’m a young adult Siberian Husky.  I’m a good girl, but I’m a little too curious when I’m not confined to the yard.  I enloy the company of people and other dogs, but I like to be left alone when I eat.  I’l looking for someone who will take the time and energy that I require.  I’m high energy and would preper a family with the same evergy level.  I’d love to go for runs, play and be taught all sorts of things.  My adoption fee is $200 and includes my spay, 1st vaccinations, deworming and vet health check.

Jax

Hi, my name is Jax.  I’m a young adult male black lab cross with a white blaze on my chest.  I was born in February of 2009.  Foster mom says I’m very sweet and well behaved.  I like to play with other dogs and make friends easily.  I’m super smart and  know the commands “sit”, “down” “twirl” and “stay” both by voice and hand signals.  Pretty good, hey?!  I currently reside outside and enjoy playing, going for walks and being taught new things.  I also love car rides, having my hair brushed and spending time with people, especially kids.  I’m just a all-around good boy, with lots of love and potential, and I would do my best to be a ‘good dog’ and a great addition to your family.

My adoption fee is $200 and includes my neuter surgery and tattoo, first vet health check, first rabes shot, first vaccinations, and first deworming. Pretty good deal, huh?!

Hi, my name’s Buck.  I’m a 1-1.5 year old male large breed mix.  I’m a good guy who loves people, and I get along with other dogs as well.  I enjoy playing with kiddos, but I may knock over the tiny ones by mistake.  I’m good-natured and love to play outside.  I’d love to join a forever family.  If you’re interrested in meeting me, call the SHS shelter line at 326-1274
